Back by popular demand and now in its fifth year, the Australia HiFi and AV Show is one of the busiest weekends in Melbourne. This year it is to be held over three days at the InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto on Collins Street in the CBD, which makes getting to and from the expo as easy as possible.
A hands-on expo, attendees will be able to test and compare a range of brands and products, from speakers and turntables to headphones and computer systems. Over the three day event there will be a number of seminars run by the designers, editors and writers to help you learn about these innovative products and teach you how to set the systems up and conveniently control everything from your smartphone or tablet.
There are a total of 215 brands and 42 exhibitors at this year’s showcase and to ensure you see all of your favourite stall holders you can refer to the floor plan to perfectly map out your day.
In terms of events, there is a small yet thriving event calendar guaranteed to impress. Australian music icon John Paul Young will be making an appearance on Sunday the 23rd of October for the live Classic Vinyl Session from 2:30pm to 3:30pm. Mark Döhmann, and his highly sought after Vinyl Masterclass, is back for three sessions this year. Providing audiences with insight into how to set up an analogue system, Mark’s sessions run from 3pm to 4pm on Friday and Saturday and 11am to 12pm on Sunday.
